Latest news from Austins Dog Grooming regarding Coronavirus.
In response to the UK government's recent lockdown review, Austins Dog Grooming will continue to be closed until 8th June 2020. Groomers have been given strict regulations that we need to ensure we adhere to, including only one groomer and one dog being in the premises at any one time to be able to operate. As COVID-19 can be carried via pet fur we are also required to wear a certain amount of PPE, which is proving difficult to source.
We are hoping that with all this in mind we are able to open from the 8th June so if you would like to be put on our waiting list please feel free to contact us on our usual ‘get in touch’ options and we will get back to you as soon as we can start booking appointments. A new salon policy will be implemented for any bookings after the 8th June. This covers our planned new ways of working to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. Please ensure you have read the new Salon Policy before attending your appointment.
We will continue to review the guidance given over the next few weeks and update this page accordingly should we need to make any changes.
Thank you for your loyalty and understanding during these times.
Stay safe & well!
In response to the UK government's recent lockdown review, Austins Dog Grooming will continue to be closed for at least a further 3 weeks (currently up until 7th May 2020). We will continue to review the guidance nearer this date and will keep this news page updated accordingly. Thank you for your patience in these unprecedented times.
Please be aware following recent advice from the government that Austins Dog Grooming (both Lynsey & Karen) will be closed until further notice. We will be contacting all our customers that are currently booked in, however we are unable to rebook your appointment until we know when we are able to return. You can be rest assured that will try and fit you back in as soon as possible.
We hope you all stay safe and well and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as it is safe to do so. Give those dogs an extra hug from us!
